Introducing Perry’s Newest Face

Perry Public Library has a new face in the stacks! Dajia is our new teen library assistant.

She’s spending the summer with us and she’s been a wonderful addition to the team. Dajia is a local high school student who loves to read and work with children. Now, those are two characteristics that lead to summer success in the public library! We are thrilled to have her shelving, helping patrons and assisting with children’s programming. She can most often be found in the stacks, so feel free to ask her for help locating items or recommendations.

When she’s not at the library she enjoys reading all sorts of books, but especially mystery and suspense. She also spends time helping her grandmother with her gardening. In the future she intends to teach preK – 5th grade.
