Perry Library welcomes their MVPs!

Who are our MVPs?

Our MVPs are our new 55+ Advisory Board for Perry Public Library.

We are so excited to launch this new program!

The first meeting is Friday, May 4th at 10:00 in Perry Public Library’s meeting room. We will be having some fun, enjoying some refreshments and sharing ideas!

Perry has some unique activities scheduled that involve our MVPs. We think these will improve our community as a whole BUT also be a lot of fun! One example is a new intergenerational story telling project. Think young people these days just can’t capture the significance of major historical events, like the day JFK was killed or the Vietnam War? Come tell them about it! We will have a personal story telling day for our 11-17 year olds to come and hear your personal experiences and ask questions.  We’ll talk about some of the details at the MVP meeting in May. But that’s just one of our ideas and we want to hear yours!!!

Don’t leave us in the room eating those cookies by ourselves!

Join us!

Friday, May 4th  10:00 a.m. at Perry Public Library!
