Georgia Author-Adult Fiction

Want to try a new author or just want to read a book written close to home?  Why not try a Georgia author.

One of the most popular Georgia authors is Mary Kay Andrews, although many of our patrons have read her books, a lot of people don’t know she previously published under the name Kathy Hogan Trocheck.   Mary Kay Andrews in not only a native to Georgia but her series Southern is based in Savannah.  She has written nine books under this name.  She writes her series with a down-home southern style. Kathy Hogan Trocheck mystery series Callahan Garrity is based in Atlanta.  Under this name she has written ten books with the name Kathy Hogan Trocheck.

Another author who is not only a Georgia writer but a Warmer Robins author is Lauretta Hannon.  Lauretta Hannon’s memoir, “The Cracker Queen: A Memoir of a Jagged, Joyful Life  recounted the stories of her dysfunctional family in Warner Robins and the numerous colorful characters who popped into her life. She triumphed over personal hardships, experiences that gave her a resilience and humor that are the hallmarks of her writing and her life.
